Sharing his thoughts on the film, Ram Charan said, “It’s an amazing, amazing, amazing film.He stressed the importance of films that promote national unity.“Should more films like this come out? Of course. The integrity of the country, like India’s first, is very important in our future films. It unites the country,” he added.
Box office numbers reflect audience acceptance
Ram Charan also weighed in on the phenomenal box office run of the franchise, saying that the collections reflect the audience’s love for the film.“It became the highest grosser; it earned more than Rs 1800 crore. Why is this?According to the actor, audience support is the biggest measure of a film’s success.“If the people of India own it and want it to happen, why not? It’s good for our country,” he added.
Dhurandhar’s record-breaking run
Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar released in December 2025 and earned over Rs 1,300 crore worldwide.The link, Dhurandhar. Revenge, hit theaters in March this year and went on to earn more than Rs 1,800 crore worldwide. The film emerged as the second highest grossing Hindi film of all time after Dangal.Both films are now available to stream on Netflix and JioHotstar.
