Actor, director and choreographer Prabhu Deva has taken delivery of the MG M9 electric luxury MPV. This model is the flagship offering under the brand’s MG SELECT premium sales channel.One of the biggest highlights of the MG M9 is its “Presidential Seat” second row. These powered ottoman-style seats offer 16 modes of adjustment with ventilation, heating and eight massage modes. The luxury MPV is also equipped with a double-glazed sunroof, Cognac Brown leather upholstery, ambient lighting and smart welcome controls. MG also offers electric sliding rear doors and flexible storage solutions as part of the package.Inside, the M9 features a dual-screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity are included, while entertainment functions are handled by a 13-speaker JBL audio system with a subwoofer. Other features include three-zone climate control, a 64-color ambient lighting system and a camera-based digital rearview mirror.The MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery mated to a front electric motor that produces 245 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The luxury MPV EV offers an MIDC-certified driving range of 548 km on a single charge. Charging options include an 11 kW AC charger and 160 kW DC fast charging support. Safety features include seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS and 5-star safety ratings under Euro NCAP and ANCAP crash-test standards. The ADAS suite includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring.The MG M9 is offered in Pearl Luster White, Metal Black and Concrete Gray color options. The electric MPV is sold through the brand’s MG SELECT experience centers across major cities in India.
