Despite the crushing defeat, captain Nigar Sultana believes that the team is still there and has managed to do well.
“It’s a very busy schedule, of course, because we don’t get much time to change. But we had a very good session yesterday, so it looks good,” he said.
The captain also revealed how the players tried to stay positive.
“On the bus ride, I think we were having a lot of fun, and we were trying to speak clearly. And, you know, we were singing on the bus, and we were talking about cricket, of course.”
Bangladesh’s bowling has been impressive, but the batsmen will need to step up after the collapse against Australia. A win for Pakistan would put them back in the race for the semifinals.
