The new season begins with an episode that runs for over an hour. According to reports, the premiere will feature the ‘Battle of the Gullet’, one of the most devastating and brutal conflicts in the history of Westeros. The battle is expected to be a pivotal moment in the ongoing ‘Dance of the Dragons’ storyline, which has driven the series since its inception.
House of the Dragon Season 3 confirmed to have eight episodes
Like Season 2, the upcoming season will consist of eight episodes. Showrunner Ryan Condal previously explained that the series moved from the 10-episode format used in its first season to an eight-episode structure in an effort to improve pacing and storytelling.
