Dwayne Johnson weighs in on fatherhood
The actor recently sat down for an interview with Esquire, where he opened up about fatherhood and parenting. Showing photos of her wearing pink makeup, the actor shared a joke that even though she complains a lot about it, she loves every second of it. He added, “This is my greatest joy; I love doing it. My favorite thing right now about being a father is having such a great connection with all my daughters.”On top of that, he also weighed in on what it was like for him to become a father at an early age, saying that he and his first daughter, Simone, “grew up together.” He added, “At that time in my life, I was just flying by the seat of my pants, and I didn’t know what I was doing. I was trying to figure myself out, and my first daughter was two, three, four, five, six years old; those are very critical ages to be with, but I always wanted to say that we were growing up, her and me.”For the uninitiated, the actor is the father of three daughters. Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana.
Dwayne Johnson on what he loves most about being a father
The actor even joked about a time in his life when he liked being a father more. She shared that her daughters know to come to her when their mother says no to them. He shared, “What I also love about being a dad is when their mom says no to something, they know, come to me. ‘I’ll show you that I love you more than your mom.'”In the caption for the post he made about the interview, the actor wrote, “Sometimes we men are still trying to figure ourselves out, while at the same time, trying to figure out how to be a good father to our little ones.”
