NEW DELHI: Jasprit Bumrah is set to make his long-awaited ODI comeback for India after being named in the 15-man squad for the three-match series against England starting July 14. The pace master, who was rested from the recently concluded series against Afghanistan as part of the work management, will spearhead India’s bowling threat in English.Bumrah’s comeback comes after a long spell in the 50-over format. Since losing to India in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup, the 32-year-old has missed eight ODIs, which shows the BCCI’s caution in managing the number of key players.India played ODI series in South Africa and Sri Lanka in 2023-24 and 2024 respectively without Bumrah.
