‘Roommates’ star Sarah Sherman is a huge Paul McCartney fan, and she’s not shy about it. In a recent interview, the actress, best known for her work in Chucky, Pizza Movie, and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, among others, was candid about her admiration for the music legend. He even revealed that the singer made fun of him when they met for the first time on the set of Saturday Night Live.

While speaking to PEOPLE at the 5th Annual Las Culturistas Culture Awards at the United Theater in Los Angeles, the actress explained how it felt to meet her idol. On a previous episode of SNL, he repeatedly mentioned that his iconic mullet was inspired by McCartney.When they finally had a chance to interact in a later episode, that was the first thing he noticed. Sherman recalled, “So, basically I was talking about how I got his mullet from his time on Wings, and so he came up to me after the show and he pulled my mullet and he was like, ‘Is it real or is it a wig?'”She laughs and tells him it’s real and her own hair.Sherman later posted about the moment on social media, joking that he would never wash his mullet again. He also discussed the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live! , in which the host said, “I think it’s very rare that someone gets their mullet pulled by a Beatle.”To this, the Pizza Movie actress jokingly replied, “Honey, he can do whatever he wants to me.”

Like, McCartney II is my favorite album ever, and ‘Temporary Secretary’ is my favorite song.” And then I said, ‘I’m sorry I complimented you so much.’ And he said, ‘I love praise. Praise me.
