Hugh Jackman revealed that a battle scene in ‘The Death of Robin Hood’ helped him get to know his co-star Elijah Ungvary “so well,” during an interview with People Magazine. “If you had seen another film, we would have looked like lovers,” Jackman joked, before adding, “And Michael said, ‘I love it.’ There’s a strange intimacy to hand-to-hand combat and its brutality.”Detailing the plot point where the duo had to bond, Jackman said the battle sequence was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” At one particular time, the actor received a heavy blow and landed on his opponent’s chest. The complex scene was filmed at night with heavy mud, prompting Jackman to comment, “I’m still getting mud out of places, a year later.”
