HTET 2026 exam cities: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has announced that candidates appearing for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 will be able to check the details of their allotted exam city on the official website of the board from 4 pm. The news was announced at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bhiwani.Board chairman Shankar Lal Dhupad said the examination will be conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026, at 383 examination centers in the state. A total of 2,33,294 candidates have registered for the exam. Exam admission tickets will be issued separately at a later stage.Issue examination arrangement guidelinesTo ensure smooth and malpractice-free conduct of the examinations, the board organized virtual meetings with district education officials. During the meeting, the officials were asked to follow all prescribed procedures and maintain strict vigilance at the examination centres.The Chairman said arrangements for inspections at the center had been strengthened. Flying squads will be deployed to prevent cheating and other irregularities. Each examination center will have a board representative and an administrative or gazetted officer from the district administration.The examination schedule includes the Level 3 examination on the evening of July 4, with a total of 73,091 candidates taking part. The Level II exam will be held on the morning of July 5 with a total of 1,19,141 candidates taking part; the Level I exam will be held on the evening of July 5 with a total of 41,062 candidates taking part.The control room operates normally during the exam periodBoard secretary Munish Sharma (IAS) directed the district education officers to hold district level meetings with center heads and administrative officers under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner. Details of the meeting agenda will be communicated to the Board.The control room will be operational from July 3 to July 5 at the district education office. Designated staff will maintain direct contact with the control room established at the Board Headquarters and submit a comprehensive inspection report on the day of inspection.Special rules for candidates and staffVisually impaired and handicapped candidates will be given an additional 50 minutes. Female candidates will be allowed to wear only Mangalsutra and wear Bindi and Sindoor. Sikh candidates will be allowed to carry items belonging to their religious beliefs.The committee has directed officials to regularly check the functionality of jammers, biometric systems, camera equipment and CCTV cameras. Only persons with valid ID are allowed into the testing center, and ID must be kept in a visible location at all times throughout the exam.
