Clive Lloydwho believe that the passion of youth has the qualities that are needed for a better future.Lloyd, one of the most respected players in the history of cricket and the man who led West Indies to win the World Cup in 1975 and 1979, was recently asked how the 15-year-old Indian batsman could have coped with the fearsome threat that conquered the entire cricket world in his time.The 81-year-old led a team that featured some of the most dangerous players in the game, incl. Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Andy Roberts and Colin Croft. Considering the fantasy competition between Sooryavanshi and the legendary sportsman, Lloyd felt that it would be an interesting battle.“Well, he’d have a really good test (laughs), and we’d be testing his character, his skills, etc. He’s got good eyes. He’s a good pitcher. Yeah, so that would be a good test for him and a good test for our pitchers. A six off the last delivery he faced would have taken him to the top.Following his performance in Sri Lanka, Sooryavanshi is scheduled to travel to Ireland for the two T20Is against India later this month.
