Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad has started the recruitment process for 12 non-teaching posts in administrative and technical departments. IITDH/Admin/SR/46/2026-27, dated June 11, 2026.As per the notification, the posts of Assistant Registrar, Junior Director, Junior Assistant and Junior Technical Director in various disciplines are vacant. The last date to submit online applications is July 13, 2026 at 11:59 pm.The recruitment exercise includes two posts of Assistant Registrar in Pay Scale 10, three posts of Junior Superintendent of Police in Pay Scale 6 and two posts of Junior Assistant in Pay Scale 3. The technical vacancies include one post each for Junior Technical Supervisor in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CCS, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and BSBE, all at Band 6 salary.For Assistant Registrar, candidates must possess Master’s degree or equivalent CGPA with at least 55% marks along with the required work experience. The upper age limit for this position is 42 years.The upper age limit for Junior Supervisor and Junior Technical Supervisor posts is 34 years, while candidates applying for Junior Assistant must not be above 27 years.Candidates belonging to the general, OBC and EWS categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Female applicants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Benchmark Disabled Persons, Veterans and general employees of IIT Dharwad are exempted from paying this fee.For Level 6 positions, the selection process may include Written Examination I and Written Examination II. For the post of Assistant Registrar of Class 10, shortlisted candidates may have to undergo a written evaluation followed by an interview.
