The ‘Jab We Met’ director shared his thoughts on the burqa and parda and said he is not okay with women saying they are comfortable with it.A viral video of her from this Samdish’s Unfiltered interview saw her saying, “I don’t like it when someone says ‘I’m comfortable in my Burqa. I’m comfortable in my skirt’. It’s a degenerated society, if you feel this way, it’s not okay.” He added, “It means you’ve become a victim in your mind, I don’t know how.”Answering this, Samdish said, “Sometimes, I don’t even understand this Imtiaz, because we are talking to different groups in the society. Society goes on like this, one group talks to another group and in the end it is only communities that interact with each other at one point. So, in that case, let’s say there is a community, let’s say my tribes are from different tribes, my women are from everyone. Purdah, I will live like this and we all agree. So, who am I to stop them?
