Madonna admitted that her iconic high-heeled career caused her physical problems. The 67-year-old icon recently opened up about her fitness regimen and the changes she was forced to make due to a knee injury sustained over decades of dancing.Speaking to Interview Magazine, Madonna was candid about the toll on her body throughout her career. “I have a bad knee now. I have no cartilage in it, thanks to dancing in high heels and running on the pavement and doing Ashtanga yoga,” said Madonna in the publication. He went on to explain that until recently, he had been maintaining an intense fitness routine that put a lot of stress on his joints.“Up until a year ago, I was jumping on trampolines and doing cardio and doing a lot of things that a doctor called loading my joints,” she said. “That can’t be done anymore.”Despite the injury, Madonna continues to prioritize her physical health and fitness, even with changes designed to protect her compromised knee.

A month later, Madonna was forced to cancel three more shows due to medical orders. “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me great joy, and the cancellation is a kind of punishment for me,” he said at the time. He added that the physical pain he was experiencing required rest and professional medical guidance.“The pain I’m feeling now is extreme, and I need to rest and follow the doctor’s orders so that I can come back stronger and better and continue the journey of Madame with all of you,” he explained.
