NIFTUG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NIFT UG 2026 first round seat allotment results on the official counseling portal, allowing registered candidates to check their allotment status online. Candidates can log in to the official website using the NIFT UG roll number and password to check the results.Candidates allotted seats in Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) courses need to download the provisional seat allotment letter from the portal. While checking the allotment status, candidates must also complete the submission of intention and pay the stipulated admission fee within the notified time to reserve the allotted seat.Admission process after seat allocationThrough the counseling portal, successful candidates can view allotment results, download provisional allotment letters and complete admission formalities. As per the official notification, failure to pay the required admission fee within the stipulated period will result in cancellation of allocated seats. Such candidates will not be eligible for subsequent periodic counseling.NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 (NIFTEE) is held in February 2026 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by National Institute of Fashion Technology.Second round schedule and selection changesCandidates who are not allocated a seat in the first round will automatically be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds, provided they remain registered and meet the eligibility requirements.NTA also announced that the option to apply for the second round of NRI sponsorship seats will be available on July 3, 2026 from 9 am to 5 pm. Candidates can also modify their selections for the second round between July 3 and 5.To check allocation resultsCandidates can get the NIFT UG 2026 First Round Seat Allotment Result by visiting the official counseling website and selecting the First Round Seat Allotment Result link on the home page. They should then enter their NIFT UG roll number and password before logging in. The allotted seat details will be displayed on the screen and candidates can verify the information and download the provisional seat allotment letter for future admissions.
