Honda Cars India has once again been spotted testing its upcoming electric SUV. Based on the Honda 0 Alpha concept, the camouflaged prototype was recently spotted in Manali, revealing its cabin in more detail than before. The latest spy images show a large landscape-oriented infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster.

In the spy image, the interior of the SUV is visible from the driver’s window. A few interior highlights include a large freestanding infotainment touchscreen in the center of the dashboard and a fully digital instrument cluster located behind the steering wheel. The touchscreen is expected to feature Honda’s new UI, and other expected features include wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car features, navigation and EV-specific features. Below, physical buttons for climate control and other functions can also be seen. The steering wheel appears to have a new multi-function design, while the dashboard adopts the minimalist style seen on the global Honda Series 0 models. The Honda Alpha 0 was presented for the first time at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Honda calls the Honda 0 Alpha concept “Thin, Light, and Wise,” and that philosophy is clearly reflected in its styling. The SUV carries a wide and straight stance that gives it presence, while the correct and almost vertical front windshields stand out as design highlights. The window line stretches towards the rear, merging into a thick C-pillar that gives it a hint of MPV-like proportions, bordered by a subtle roof spoiler.

In terms of design, up front, the smooth fascia houses an illuminated Honda emblem and an integrated charging port, bordered cleanly by stylish headlight units. A bold lower bumper morphs into muscular body cladding along the sides, where 19-inch five-spoke aerodynamic-style alloys fill the flared wheel arches. At the rear, a wide U-shaped LED light strip frames the vertical glass area, while a thick faux skirt plate on the bumper completes the rugged yet futuristic appeal. Both the front and the back feature large screen-like sections that integrate various functional elements. At the front, traditionally separate components – such as the headlights, the illuminated Honda badge and the charging port are perfectly unified in the screen area. The rear continues this theme with a distinctive U-shaped light signature that merges the taillights, reverse lights and signal lights. The almost vertical tailgate design also suggests generous luggage capacity and improved practicality.Image: Instagram/pxrtth.gpt
