‘Welcome To The Jungle’ witnessed an expected slowdown at the box office on its first Monday after a strong opening weekend.According to the first estimates, the comedy starring: Akshay Kumar in the lead, saw a huge dip in its total collections on Monday, but still managed to sail past the Rs 100 crore mark in four days.A Sacnilk report says that the entertainer earned an estimated Rs 8.50 crore nett in India on Day 4 from 10,922 shows. With this, the film registered a 65.7 percent decline from the Sunday collections.The film began its theatrical run with a strong start, earning Rs 3.75 crore from paid preview shows before collecting Rs 15.25 crore on its opening Friday. It continued its upward trend over the weekend, earning Rs 20 crore on Saturday and peaking at Rs 24 crore on Sunday.While trade expectations had put the film’s first Monday collections in double digits, the film fell short of that mark, earning an estimated Rs 8.50 crore in its tally. With this, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has earned an estimated Rs 72.25 crore net collection in India in four days. Its total collection on the other hand, currently stands at Rs 86.53 crore.The film also maintained a consistent performance overseas. It collected Rs 3 crore gross on Day 4, taking the cumulative overseas gross to Rs 19.95 crore.The combined global total of the film now stands at an estimated Rs 106.48 crore after four days.Despite Monday’s sharp drop, the film remains firmly on track to achieve a Rs 90-100 crore net total by the end of its first week, provided it can keep pace throughout the working week. The film now faces competition from Hindi release ‘Cocktail’.The film will face more competition this week with the release of the Hollywood animated comedy, ‘Minions & Monsters’ which is scheduled to hit theaters across India on July 2, 2026.
