Since the June 3 incident, Gledhill has been in jail, and a USD 2 million bail has been set for his release.A hearing was held on Monday; however, he was not there, according to reports shared by his public defender. The documents reveal that he “openly refused transportation.” The trial was still held without him, and the judge later ruled that Michael did not deserve a trial, and approved medication for him in prison. A statement read, “he is not currently competent to stand trial. Psychotropic medication has been administered and may be injected as psychiatric deems appropriate.”On June 3, after receiving a 911 call, the actor was found by the LAPD on his front lawn in Tarzana, “unconscious and suffering from a stab wound to his chest.” The call received by authorities was allegedly made by Gledhill, who said, “I am the son of man, I just killed the man in the sin” at the time.Wendy Gledhill, Michael’s mother and Handy’s girlfriend, later revealed that her son had been diagnosed with schizophrenia for many years, and had been taking medication to control his condition.
