ETimes verdict:
The ETimes review for the film reads, “Swasika does the heaviest lifting. Hers is the reactive role, all the despair and sudden outbursts, the anger is just a default setting on a surface with a lot bubbling underneath, and she brings out the inside wonderfully.” Vijay Antony comes into his own only in the closing part, as a pipe worker named Ezhumalai who remains unfazed by the chaos around him. The part is simpler, but he is more expressive than usual, truly alive in the face. Ajay Dhishan is good as the impulsive son who needs to grow up fast, and Balaji Sakthivel clearly enjoys being a troublemaker.”DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
