ETimes hails ‘Nooru Saami’

In its review, ETimes noted that the film avoids many of the usual tropes usually associated with village-based stories.Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote, “We’ve seen like a thousand such village drama setups before. The surprise is how rarely Sasi achieves the obvious. No lamentation, no revenge, none of the reputation-killing theatrics that these stories tend to slide into. The governing feeling is closer to playful anger. Almost everyone is running on a short fuse, easily broken and even more easily argued, but that angst never boils down to grating melodrama.DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
