Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is making history, breaking fifty fastest runs in List A Cricket

Indian youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has written his name in the record books by registering the fastest fifty in List A Cricket history in the final match of the Tri-Nation Series between India A and Sri Lanka A at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.The 15-year-old opener staged a spectacular attack against Sri Lankan bowlers Sri Lanka A after electing to bat first, running in just 11 runs. In doing so, Sooryavanshi eclipsed the previous world record of 12-ball 50, set by Kaushalya Weeraratne of Sri Lanka in 2005.The defining moment came when Sooryavanshi launched left-arm spinner Dulaj Samuditha straight down the sixth over of his innings, bringing up an incredible fifty and rewriting List A records.Sri Lanka A won the toss earlier and decided to bowl first against India A in the final of the Tri-Nation Series.
