Tom Hardy, best known for his work in ‘Peaky Blinders’ and ‘Venom,’ is about to take on a new persona. The actor recently confirmed that he will be making his musical debut as Frankie Pulitzer, aka Face Puller, and will release a rap album soon.
Tom Hardy to drop his first rap album
Teaming up with Czarface, a popular hip-hop supergroup, Tom Hardy will bring his rap persona, the Face Puller, back to the main stage. Although this is not the first time the actor has dabbled in rap music, this is his first official release in years. The actor went viral a few years ago after his 1999 rap mixtape was leaked online.Billboard reports that he will be working with Czarface, who is comprised of 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck. The album title is set to ‘Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer’, and is set to be released on August 28. To announce the release of the album, the group has dropped their lead single from the upcoming album titled ‘Brothers Grimm.’What makes it even more exciting is the fact that some of the album’s collaborations include Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P (Jaime Meline). This isn’t the first time Hardy and Czarface have collaborated, as the star featured on some of the group’s songs from their ‘Good Guys, Bad Guys’ EP.

Back in 2024, Busta Rhymes and Tom Hardy made headlines after the rapper visited the star on the sets of his movie. Not only that, but he also shared a post about their meeting online and, at the time, hinted that they would be working together soon. The caption read, “I keep telling you all that the blessings are not there, so we won’t stop, ever.Hardy also mentioned that Rhymes was one of his inspirations for the voice he used to portray Venom on the big screen. While speaking to BBC Radio 1, he stated that “I mix a little bit of Busta Rhymes, a little bit of Method and Redman, a little bit of James Brown, and a little element of Richard Burton.”
Tom Hardy’s uncertain role in ‘MobLand’
The news also comes at the same time as the ‘MobLand’ actor’s future is uncertain. Since last month, there have been reports that the actor was removed from his lead role in the show as Harry Da Souza, the main fixer of the Harrigan family. Puck reported the news, mentioning that some of the reasons he was allegedly fired from the show included the fact that he was always late for work, tried to change dialogues, and also clashed with the show’s producers on several occasions.
