The political action thriller has garnered good reviews
Directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, Ananthan Kaadu is mounted as a political action thriller with a period backdrop. The narrative explores conflicts rooted in violence and authority.ETimes has given Ananthan Kaadu 2.5 stars out of 5. Our exclusive review says, “Arya is presented as the central face of the film, but her character, Vetrivel Kumaran, does not get enough space to leave a lasting impact. His personal story is intertwined with many other narratives, and as a result, the emotional weight of his revenge is not fully felt. Murali Gopy performs with restraint and Indran stands out in the serious parts. Vijayaraghavan, Dev Mohan, Appani Sarath, Santhi Balachandran, Nikhila Vimal, and the rest of the cast performed their parts sincerely. The action sequences are appreciated and performed with energy. The film relies heavily on violence and stunts, which slowly make the impact of these sequences feel repetitive.”DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
