A nine-year-old England cricketer did a rare feat in local sports by taking six wickets in six balls, leaving his friends, family and coaches celebrating his feat.Rohan, who plays for Great Shelford Cricket Club near Cambridge, completed his hat-trick against Histon on Sunday, the BBC reported.The young pitcher struck out six batters in six innings, finishing with a 6-0 record.Rohan said the celebrations after his last wicket were unforgettable.“It was very loud,” he said, as reported by the BBC, recalling how everyone cheered and ran onto the field after the last wicket.Due to his performance, Rohan received the ball and was named the player of the match. The boy said he has been playing cricket for his school team and Great Shelford.Speaking about taking six wickets in six balls, he added: “It doesn’t happen very often.”His father, Narain, said seeing his son perform well on Father’s Day made the event even more special.“Getting one wicket is a big achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I was proud of,” Narain told the BBC.Team coach and umpire Vishal Gupta said he sees magic.“I had the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took off my umpire’s hat and threw it up to him and his team. Everyone was clapping.”
