However, in one of his latest shows, the singer cruelly changed some lyrics about one of the exes, who were there to cheer the ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me’ singer from the VIP pits.

While performing in Austin, Texas, the singer performed her hit song on stage, however, she changed the lyrics a bit as a shoutout to Ricky Alvarez, one of her former back up dancers, whom she dated from April 2015 to July 2016. His 2018 song originally had the lyrics “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”However, for her late night performance on the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour, the singer changed the lyrics to “Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he’s still got my back.” The show takes place at the Moody Center. Alvarez enjoyed the shoutout after videos of the concert saw him attending, dancing and shouting to the singer’s music while attending the concert in the VIP pit section area.This is not the first time he has changed the lyrics himself. At a concert a few days before, the singer sang, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / And they’re still a little slap” instead of the original version.In addition to this, Grande and Alvarez have been together for some time and have been seeing each other, and they were even seen having lunch together in public, according to a report by PEOPLE.
