“You must ensure compatibility”
Sharing her perspective, Zeenat said, “In today’s time—and even in the past—nothing lasts forever. You should ensure compatibility before making a legal commitment. This is my view. You have to find out if you’re compatible mentally and emotionally.”He went on to explain that compatibility goes beyond romance and includes important aspects of building a life together.“If you are planning to have children, how are you going to raise them? What are your financial views? If there is no compatibility, what is the point? Wouldn’t you rather have five happy years instead of fifteen miserable ones? That’s what I believe,” he added.
“The honeymoon phase doesn’t last forever”
The actress also spoke about the realities of long-term relationships, saying that many people mistakenly believe that only romance can sustain a marriage.“People think romance lasts forever. Nothing lasts forever. Relationships are always evolving. There has to be give and take, adjustments and compromises when things are going to work. Relationships are evolving.
Zeenat shared the same advice with her children
