The official countdown to the release of ‘Spider-Man. The New Day’, kicked off with a new teaser that dropped online. This one in particular has a Hollywood star Tom Holland joined forces with football legend Lionel Mess. A few weeks after the actor and footballer were seen filming together, a new promo clip for the Marvel Superhero film has dropped online.

The special video released by the makers shows Messi in search of Spider-Man. His search leads him to a coffee shop in New York, where he meets Peter Parker. Upon hearing that Messi is looking for Spidey, he transforms into his Spider-Man, and appears leaving the football legend shocked. The two were then spotted swinging in NYC.

‘Spider Man. Brand New Day’ marks the 4th MCU Spider-Man film, and follows the emotional fall of ‘Spider-Man. No Home’. After Doctor Strange’s spell erases the memory of Peter Parker’s world, he begins a new chapter as a lone, full-time Spider-Man protecting New York City. The film explores Peter living without the support system of MJ and Ned while facing new threats and changes in his own abilities.With Marvel leaning towards a more grounded, street-level Spider-Man story, the film aims to show Peter finally becoming the independent hero fans want to see.
