HPBOSE Supplementary Examination 2026 Begins, Students Must Check Guidelines to Ensure Fair and Smooth Conduct

HPBOSE Supplementary Examination 2026: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in Dharamshala has started conducting Matric and Class 12 supplementary examinations from July 3, 2026. The examination is conducted for multiple categories including Divisional, Basic Improvement, Optional Improvement, Additional Subjects, Reappearance for Diploma Holders, Special Opportunities and other qualifying categories as per the Board Rules.The board has issued detailed guidelines to ensure smooth and malpractice-free conduct of examinations at all centres. Candidates taking the supplementary examination must strictly abide by the examination rules and maintain discipline throughout the process. All papers are presented in one morning session from 8:45 am to 12:00 noon.Strict guidance on fair examination conductHPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma directed that examinations at all centers must be conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Candidates are advised to avoid any form of unfair means, including cheating or using unauthorized material. The committee stressed that strict monitoring arrangements are in place to ensure compliance with examination norms.We urge students to be confident and honest during the examination process. The Committee reiterates that discipline and integrity remain vital to academic progress and successful completion of examinations under the supplementary system.You must have an admission ticket to enter the examination centerThe board has uploaded the admit cards for Matric and Class 12 (regular) supplementary examinations on its official website www.hpbose.org. Candidates have to download the admit card through ‘Students Corner’ while schools can use the ‘School Login’ facility to access and distribute the admit card.Entry to the exam center is strictly dependent on verification of the admission ticket. Candidates must ensure that all details such as exam centre, subject details and personal information are printed correctly. In case of discrepancy, students are advised to contact the relevant authorities before the exam date.Candidates under the ‘Special Opportunities’ category are also required to download their admit card and verify their eligibility status before appearing for the exam.Exam Timetable and Reporting RulesThe supplementary examination for Matric (General) category will be conducted from July 3, 2026 to July 10, 2026. For Class 12 (General) candidates, the examination will last until July 16, 2026. All exams are scheduled for morning exams and candidates must report before the 8:45 am start time.Once the exam begins, you are not allowed to enter the exam center late. Candidates have been instructed to carry their admit card and follow all instructions issued by the centre. The board also made it clear that reporting timings and verification procedures must be adhered to.Public cooperation and reporting mechanismsHPBOSE calls on parents, guardians and the public to help safeguard the integrity of the examination process. If any malpractice or irregularity is detected at the examination centre, it should be reported immediately to the board authorities.The Board has assured that all such information will be treated with complete confidentiality and appropriate action will be taken as per regulations. This mechanism has been introduced to enhance transparency and ensure fair conduct across all examination centres.Provide helpline for candidatesTo provide support to students during the examination period, HPBOSE has released helpline numbers for various districts and categories. These helplines are designed to assist candidates with queries regarding their admit cards, exam centers and timetables.Candidates are advised to make use of these support facilities to clarify any questions required before or during the examination. The board said that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of Himachal Pradesh Supplementary Examination.
