July 2026 is going to be a busy month for the Indian auto industry, with many new car launches and unveilings planned in various segments. In addition, many manufacturers are likely to introduce special editions and refreshed versions of existing products as they prepare for the festive season in the coming months. In this article, we take a look at the next car launches and unveils in July 2026.Skoda Kodiaq RsThe Skoda Kodiaq RS is the first car in the list and is expected to be launched in the coming days. The limited performance SUV quickly attracted strong interest from enthusiasts across the country. And all the 50 units allocated for India were sold within just six minutes of bookings opening. With all 50 units now sold, it remains to be seen whether Skoda Auto India will allocate additional units of the Kodiaq RS for the Indian market.

Skoda will import the performance SUV as a completely built unit (CBU) and is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Skoda Kodiaq RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 265 PS and 400 Nm of torque. Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS delivers an additional 60 hp and 80 Nm of torque. Notably, the engine is tuned identically to the unit that powers the Octavia RS and Golf GTI. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels.2026 Renault KwidThe next car on the list is the new Renault Kwid 2026, which will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. Exterior changes are likely to include redesigned front and rear bumpers, along with a new set of alloy wheels. Renault has yet to reveal cabin updates, although the hatchback is expected to receive revised upholstery and a few new features. The mechanical package is likely to remain unchanged, with the naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol engine continuing to produce 67bhp and 91Nm. Buyers are expected to have a choice of a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the dealer-equipped CNG kit is also likely to remain on offer.Nissan Tecton Next up is the Nissan Tekton, which will make its world debut on July 9, 2026. At the front, the new Nissan Tekton SUV features a wide front grille with a red horizontal stripe running through it and an illuminated Nissan logo in the center. The SUV also features signature full-width LED DRLs linked to the headlight units, which incorporate L-shaped lighting elements. Other exterior highlights include a sculpted bonnet with prominent character lines, a central hood scoop and Tekton badges.

At the rear, the SUV has a roof-mounted spoiler, a sloping windshield, connected C-shaped taillights and a large bumper. Dimensionally, the SUV is expected to be similar in size to the new Renault Duster, which measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, 1,703 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm.The Tekton is expected to share its engine options with the new Duster. A 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Another engine is a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo gasoline with 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual. There is also a larger 1.8-liter hybrid gasoline engine with 109 hp, paired with a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp hybrid starter generator (HSG), paired with a 1.4kWh (280V) battery. Together, this configuration provides a combined system output of 160 hp and 172 Nm. We still don’t know which engine option will be offered with the new Tekton. Maruti Suzuki Brezza face lift Next is the Maruti Suzuki Breeze Facelift, expected to be launched sometime this month. In terms of design, the overall silhouette of the car remains unchanged; the next version could introduce notable revisions to its style and equipment. In the latest spy shots, the rear section of the SUV has been captured. The facelifted model will feature a redesigned front bumper and a refreshed grille. Similar cosmetic adjustments are expected at the rear as well. Interestingly, despite the growing trend of connected taillights in new SUVs, the updated Brezza, like the recent spy image, is not expected to adopt this design element. Other exterior highlights could include new-style 16-inch alloy wheels, stylish LED lights with DRLs, roof rails and an integrated rear spoiler.On the mechanical side, the 2026 Brezza is expected to get minor suspension tweaks, and a recent test mule was spotted with a 6-speed manual gearbox, suggesting that Maruti Suzuki may introduce an additional gear compared to the current setup. This change is likely intended to improve gear ratios for smoother highway cruising. While there is speculation about the possibility of the 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine from the Maruti Suzuki Fronx making its way to the Brezza, there has been no official confirmation yet.Honda ZR-V Next up is the Honda ZR-V. Pre-bookings for the Honda ZR-V are underway. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The price announcement is expected to happen sometime this month. The SUV will be bought in India via the CBU route. This will push their prices into a higher range due to import duties and related costs. The SUV is likely to be priced around 50 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will compete with Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Nissan X-Trail and more.Speaking of the powertrain, the ZR-V will be offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a dual electric motor. The strong hybrid engine produces a combined power of 184 hp and 315 Nm. It comes paired with an e-CVT automatic gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels. Honda says the ZR-V can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 172kph and has a fuel efficiency of 22.79kpl. In global markets, the ZR-V gets all-wheel drive (AWD) and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine.In terms of design, the ZR-V features a crossover-like design with clean surfaces. At the front, it features a large grille and large LED headlights, seamlessly integrated into the fascia to offer a restrained but striking presence. In profile, the SUV appears lower than typical models, with a sloping roofline and a long wheelbase, giving proportions closer to a raised hatchback than a conventional tall SUV.New MG SUVNext is a new SUV from JSW MG Motor India. It is expected that the company will launch the Wuling Starlight 560. A design patent for the model was filed in India in March. The SUV measures 4,745mm in length, offers three rows of seating for seven occupants, and features LED headlights, LED taillights and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it gets a dual-tone cabin, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker audio system, a 50W wireless phone charger and a panoramic sunroof.Internationally, the Starlight 560 is sold with plug-in hybrid engines and all-electric powertrains. The PHEV pairs a 1.5 liter petrol engine with a front electric motor and a 20.5 kWh battery, producing 195 hp and 230 Nm, with a claimed range of over 1,000 km. The EV version uses a 69.2 kWh battery and a 201 hp front-mounted motor, offering a CLTC range of 530 km. It is not clear which version will be offered in India.
