LaRoyce Hawkins departed from the long-running police procedural ‘Chicago PD’ after more than a decade on the series. The actor, who has been a series regular since the show premiered in 2014, will be leaving in the upcoming 14th season.According to Deadline, Hawkins will return to the show for the first two or three episodes of Season 14 to finish the story of his character Kevin Atwater before he leaves. The exact way in which his character will exit the series remains under wraps, though sources indicate it will happen early in the season. Hawkins has also featured Atwater in various crossover events with other police procedurals in the same network franchise.
