Akshay Kumar believes that a film does not need a big promotional event or a larger-than-life spectacle to become a box office success. “If it’s the fate of the film, it will work”

‘What happened to Saiyaara?’
Recalling the film, Akshay asked director Ahmed Khan, who was present during the interaction, to remind him of its title.“Recently, a film came out with a new boy and a new girl. What is that film?” he asked. After Ahmed Khan answered, “Saiyaara,” Akshay continued, “Yes, Saiyaara. What event is there in the film? I want to ask, what event is in the film? There is no event. It’s just that the songs in it work, and the romance in the film works. That’s earned. The guy and the girl performed well, and they were lucky that the film started.”
