The Allahabad High Judicial Court will close the online application process for the posts of Examining Officer (RO), Assistant Examining Officer (ARO) and Computer Assistant today (June 21, 2026). This recruitment exercise is conducted under Advertisement No. 02/Reviewing Officer/Assistant Reviewing Officer/Computer Assistant/2026 to fill a total of 543 vacancies in the court establishment.The recruitment notice will be released on June 1, 2026, and online registration will begin on the same day. Eligible candidates who are yet to submit their applications can complete the process through the prescribed online mode before the registration window closes.Job vacancy distributionA total of 543 vacancies were announced during this recruitment drive. Among them, there are 138 examiners, 380 assistant examiners, and 25 computer assistants. Recruitment is conducted by the Allahabad High Court of Justice.Candidates applying for any of these three posts must possess a Graduation Degree along with ‘O’ Level Computing Course Qualification. The prescribed eligibility criteria also require an English typing speed of 25 words per minute and knowledge of computer operations.Age criteria and application feesFor the posts of Examining Officer and Assistant Examining Officer, the age of the applicant must be between 21 and 35 years. The age requirement for Computer Assistant positions is between 18 and 35 years old. Age is calculated with reference to July 1, 2026, and the upper age limit is relaxed according to regulations.The application fee for candidates belonging to the general, unreserved and OBC categories has been fixed at Rs 1,200. Candidates in Uttar Pradesh SC, ST and EWS categories have to pay Rs 1,000.Selection process and important datesThe selection process consists of a written examination followed by a skills test including typing and computer proficiency assessments. Candidates who qualify for these stages will be required to undergo document verification and medical examination.While the last date for submission of online application is June 21, 2026, the fee payment facility will remain valid till June 22, 2026. Correction window notifications have been scheduled for June 24 and June 25, 2026. The review date has not yet been announced and will be notified by the High Court.
