According to the Deccan Chronicle, talking about the incident, he said, “There should be a line. A funeral is a farewell, not a photo opportunity. At some point, compassion should outweigh contentment.”On Monday, Radikaa also shared an emotional tribute to K Bhagyaraj on X (formerly Twitter). He said that the funeral, which was supposed to be a silent farewell, turned into a circus because of the large number of people and always recording.

Remembering his long-time friend, Radikaa wrote, “Final farewell, in 50 years of a very special friendship, a great creator, an evolved writer, a person who drew beautiful boundaries in Cinema, a person with whom I shared many laughs, amazing work, who stood in my family always in his quiet loyal way. The silence, became which is a circus, for all who come to pay their respects where and when we change or rather change this nonsense.In another post, he also asked the government and the film industry to make proper rules for covering funerals. He said there should be a restraining order for the paparazzi during such occasions.

In her Instagram stories, she also shared a video from the funeral that shows Radikaa asking people in the crowd to stop recording. Later, he shared a video supporting a post criticizing the behavior of some viewers and paparazzi.

K Bhagyaraj died on June 27 in Chennai after suffering a cardiac arrest. He is 73 years old. His last rites were performed with full state honors on June 28 at the Besant Nagar crematorium. Many actors and technicians from the Tamil film industry attended the funeral to pay their last respects.
