Recalling the incident at the Emmy, Robby Hoffman noted that the category was the first award listed by the podcast ‘Bald and Beautiful’ with Trixie Mattel, who was also present last year’s bad night in September. “I lost immediately,” the ‘Rooster’ actress said, before adding, “I was the biggest sore loser. We’re the first award up. I lost immediately, and we woke up with all the excitement in the world,” she continued.The actress admitted that she claimed herself as the ultimate winner, even though she was competing with decorated stars such as: Olivia Colman and Zoë Kravitz. “I was walking, I was like, ‘Where do I put the Emmy?’ We lost immediately,” he said, adding that his brother grabbed his arm and asked him to leave the ceremony.

Additionally, Hoffman admitted that he was supposed to present an award earlier in the evening, but he wasn’t in the mood. “I had to present the cinematography. I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to do that anymore.’ They said, ‘No, it’s part of the program!'” he explained. After calming down with a glass of champagne and confrontations with Mattel in the backstage area, he later went on stage and presented the trophy for Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (Half-Hour).During the interview, Hoffman shared his happiness that Julianne Nicholson won the category even though it wasn’t him. “Julianne Nicholson, who beyond deserves it, won, and if not for me, her for Hacks.
