“I decided to go with my partner and a couple of my friends in Nice for a few days and just have fun in the sun. I didn’t have work this week, I was able to clear my diary, and I was like, that’s amazing,” said Rylan to Willis on air. He went on to recount his attempt to return home that morning, explaining the complications he encountered at the airport.“I flew back really early this morning, so I went to the airport, and it was like, ‘No’. I was like, ‘sorry?'” he recalled, describing the moment his plans fell through.Rylan details the difficult decision-making process that followed. “At one point I was going to take an eight-hour train, which would still make me late for work, but would have taken me home today. In the end I thought, ‘you know what, you’ve done well for yourself, I’ll just stay another day’,” he said.
