Salman Khan: always praised for his generosity, and actor Manoj Bakshi recently shared two lesser-known moments from the sets of the 2015 blockbusterBajrangi Bhaijaanwhich, he said, shows the superstar’s humility. Bakshi, who played Qureshi in the film, spoke about Salman’s relationship with the child actor Harshaali Malhotra and also recalls an incident that shows the great popularity of the actor among the fans.Talking to Vaarun Tiwari, Manoj recalled a scene where Harshaali had to repeatedly eat chicken for a shot. Because multiple takes are required, he often spits out food between shots. According to him, Salman entered without hesitation to make the young actor comfortable.“We were shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and the girl (Harshaali Malhotra) had to eat chicken. Kabir Khan sir asked to eat one piece excitedly and smile while eating. If he has a big piece in his mouth and can’t smile while chewing, he has to spit out the chicken slices right then and there. Salman Khan took it in his hand at least 20 times. It was not his own child, and he spat the food out of his hand. Think of it however you want, he’s good despite being a big star.Bakshi also shared another memorable incident from the film’s schedule. During the shooting, Salman arranged a special screening of ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ for the entire cast and crew. However, what happened after the screening highlighted the unparalleled fan of the actor.“When we were shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dolly Ki Doli was releasing at that time. Salman said he will show the film to the entire unit. Everyone watched the film together. Salman was also there. When we were going out, his bodyguards asked us to stay inside,” shared Manoj. He continued, “The news spread that Salman was inside, and fans surrounded the entire theater because they wanted to meet him. They said they will start pelting stones if they don’t meet Salman. He came out, met them all, and they all left. He has a lot of nonsense. The aura is real because there are so many people walking with him.”On the work front, Salman Khan is currently shooting for his next untitled action entertainer opposite Nayanthara. Titled ‘SVC63’, the film marks his first collaboration with the director Vamshi Paidipally: and producer: Not Rajumaking it one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of the actor.
