Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took a break from the ‘King’ movies to attend an event in the city, on Wednesday night. The actor, rocking a new darker hair colour, stepped out in style for the event which saw him shake a leg to some of his most iconic songs.Dressed in a navy blue suit, a button-down shirt and sunglasses, the actor made a grand entrance on the big stage, to the tune of his popular track ‘Baadshah O Baadshah’. Videos from the event saw fans cheering and cheering as the superstar arrived on stage.

Khan greeted the audience and interacted with the guests at the venue. Videos that went viral saw the star saying, “You can take a man out of Maharashtra but you can’t take Maharashtra out of a man.”

Another clip sees Shah Rukh join fellow guests and even a group of performers, as he dances to a medley of fan-favorite tracks from his film career. Among the songs featured were ‘Chand Tare Tod’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’. The superstar also does not hesitate to lead the choreography and get the guests to join him.

After the show, Khan spent time backstage posing for photos with some lucky guests, photos that were soon shared online.

The appearance comes as the actor continues to work on his much-anticipated action thriller ‘King’. Directed by: Siddharth Anandalso starred in the film Suhana Khan:, Deepika Padukone and: Abhishek Bachchan in leading roles. The film is particularly significant as it marks Suhana’s theatrical debut alongside her father.The team was recently spotted in South Africa, shooting a romantic song sequence and also an epic fight scene which reportedly saw Abhishek flaunting his villainous avatar.The movie is currently scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The movie is coming amid a packed box office, releasing just a few days after the Hollywood epics ‘Avengers. Doomsday’ and ‘Dune. Part Three’.
