Kannada actor and filmmaker Sharmiela Mandre has entered a new phase in her life as she is engaged to producer Sudhan Sundaram. The couple’s engagement ceremony was held at a private event in Bengaluru on June 25.

The ceremony took place after both families gave their blessings and permission. The couple exchanged rings in a traditional celebration surrounded by their loved ones.

Talking about Sharmiela’s work, she made her acting debut with ‘Saajni’ in 2007. Since then, she has acted in around 35 films in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu cinema. Some of his popular films include ‘Krishna’, ‘Navagraha’, ‘Aake’, ‘Gaalipata 2’, ‘Powder’ and ‘The Devil’. Apart from acting, she also runs Sharmiela Mandre Productions and has produced several content-driven films.On the other hand, Sudhan Sundaram is the founder of Passion Studios and is known for producing many films. His film Parking won the National Award for Best Tamil Feature Film at the 71st National Film Awards.It is expected that Sharmiela and Sudhan will get married this year. However, the couple has not yet announced the date of their wedding.
