Actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu, shared an update about his upcoming film ‘Arasan’. The actor announced that the team has completed one of the biggest shooting schedules of the film after working continuously for more than two months.

Simbu took to his Instagram handle to share a short video on social media. In the video, he is seen shaking hands with the director Vetri Maaran after the schedule ends. The film’s cinematographer also thanked the entire team for their support and hard work.Simbu wrote, “That’s a wrap to an incredibly big schedule for #Arasan. Time to recharge, recover, see the light of day, and prepare for what’s next.”The actor resumed shooting for ‘Arasan’ on April 25. Since then, most of the shooting took place at night. A few days ago, Simbu shared that the continuous night shoots have affected his daily routine.He wrote, “Over 2 + months of continuous night shoots. My circadian rhythm is officially out of whack.”He also shared a picture with director Vetri Maaran and action choreographer Peter Hain and wrote, “Arasan in action mode.” The team filmed important action scenes in this schedule.

The promo of the film introduces an interesting story set in the world of ‘Vada Chennai’. In the video, Simbu tells director Nelson that the story is based on real people and real places. He also said, “If you put a disclaimer, even if the incidents shown in the film are true, no one can question you.”Later the promo shows Simbu standing in court after being accused of three murders. He says he is innocent, but the following scenes raise many questions about the truth.
