Sunita Ahuja reveals why she decided to join ‘Lock Upp Season 2’ despite receiving offers from other reality shows. He said that his decision is based on his trust in the show’s team and his trust that he will be taken care of during the competition.Talking about the offers she received, Sunita told SCREEN, “I was offered many reality shows – Rise And Fall, The 50, Traitors, Alliance, but I chose Lock Upp. I have no hard feelings for any other show; I thought that if I do Lock Upp, I will be treated properly. I am not afraid of anyone watching me 24/7. people will know what Sunita Ahuja is. I am very fit mentally and physically; I know how to handle all situations. I am not afraid of tasks; I don’t lie, so I will do good. But it also depends on luck.”
Govinda: worried about his decision
Sunita also shared how her husband Govinda reacted when she informed him about joining the reality show. He said that the actor was very worried about his well-being and was afraid that there was someone inside the house who would hurt him emotionally.He revealed, “Govinda was very tense. He said, ‘Main ne apni biwi ko phool ki tarah paala hai, usko andar kisi ne dukh de diya toh woh rone lagegi.’ (‘I take care of my wife like a flower; if someone hurts her inside, she cries’.) He was very worried that no one would harm his wife. Govinda was worried that nothing would hurt me or make me cry. He was very concerned about why I was doing this show. But he doesn’t know that his wife is very strong, can endure and fight against everything. It’s not a family show, so I don’t let anyone talk about my family. Govinda was very old, so no one could teach him. I am his wife; I can say what I want, but no third person can say about him.”During her appearance on the show, Sunita also repeated a statement she made earlier about wanting a son like Govinda instead of a husband like her. Explaining the context, he reflected on the ups and downs of their marriage and the strength required to stand with a partner through difficult phases.He stated, “In love, you have to allow everything. Chi Chi has many activities in her life; well, heroes and heroines have such things. I think that after standing with Chi Chi for so many years, I deserve to have a son like him.”

Sunita also addressed the rumors that arose after Govinda’s accidental shooting. Rejecting the allegations, he clarified that he was not in Mumbai at the time and refuted the claims made by social media users. He said, “If you are listening, listen carefully, brother. A bullet can hit a person in the knee if there is a reason for it. I am not lying about that either. Look, I am the truth. I am not even in Mumbai many people say that I did it. I was at Khatu Shyam. And I never missed my target.”

Sunita maintains that she is mentally and physically ready for the demands of reality television. He believes viewers will see his true personality in Lock Upp 2 and says he has no qualms about living under constant public scrutiny.
