The latest figure represents a 28.2% decline compared to the Rs 1.17 crore earned on Day 8.The film was released in 864 screens on Saturday. Chidambaram’s directorial India net collection rose to Rs 13.30 crore, while the India gross collection stood at Rs 15.41 crore.The film also continued to perform in overseas markets by collecting Rs 8.85 crore gross internationally. The worldwide gross collection reached Rs 24.26 crore.
Occupancy remains healthy
The Malayalam version registered a total occupancy of 43.99% on Day 9. Morning shows recorded 17.58% occupancy before improving to 30.42% in the afternoon. Night shows registered 42.42%.
