Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding ceremony was NOT at Madison Square Garden; Guest Anthony Jabin says 'It's a bit of a surprise'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations may not take place entirely at Madison Square Garden. After the AP confirmed that Taylor will officially marry her NFL beau, Travis this week at Madison Square Garden, a new report suggests that the wedding ceremony and celebrations may be held in two different locations.According to TMZ, the couple’s wedding is expected to take place elsewhere in a separate location on July 3, with a larger celebration with about 999 guests, reportedly held at Madison Square Garden. The report follows comments made by celebrity memorabilia collector Anthony Jabin during an appearance on TMZ Live, where he revealed that he had received an invitation to the couple’s wedding.“I will go… I have an invitation,” said Jabin. When asked what the invitation revealed about the event, Jabin refused to reveal specific details, but continued to say, “Well, I’m not allowed to reveal it, but it’s not what everyone thinks. It’s a little bit of a surprise that happened. While the publication previously reported that the reception will take place at Madison Square Garden, Jabin confirmed that the ceremony where the couple will say ‘I Do’, will not be held at the iconic New York venue.Jabin also shared that Swift invited him personally and revealed their relationship. “He was at the Super Bowl when I met him. He was so sweet and a great person,” she said.Although Jabin did not confirm if the wedding ceremony will take place elsewhere in New York City, TMZ notes that it is likely given the reported timeline of events, with the cocktail hour said to begin at 4 pm ET.Winick Productions, a company that produces red carpet events for Grammy and Tony awards shows and movie premieres, also applied for a permit to put up a canopy or tent outside the Garden for an event involving 999 people.New York City Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch on Wednesday declined to confirm that Swift and Kelce’s wedding will take place Friday at MSG but said her department has adequate resources for every major weekend event.“I’m not going to mention an event that we’re tracking at Madison Square Garden on Friday night,” Tisch said. “The NYPD, of course, has a detail in place, but I’m not going to go into more details at this time.”A law enforcement official briefed on security plans told the AP that the wedding will be held Friday, with a small rehearsal dinner Thursday night. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the events publicly.
