He clarified that it was always meant to be a comedy fronted by some of Bollywood’s most beloved comic actors. Since the cast included many big comedy stars, he added, it naturally became difficult to distribute screen time equally to everyone.
Ahmed Khan why comedy kings are more focused
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Ahmed said, “When you have such strong actors like Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas, Aftab, Arshad, Akshay; you know they are kings of comedy, inke beech mein ladkiyon ka dialogue daal ke kya hoga.”He further mentioned that everyone on board was well aware of the nature of the film and the demands of their respective roles, adding that there was no confusion about the specific parts they were meant to play. Standing in his way, he points out that what is important for a hero is to have strong, meaningful scenes, not just a high number of dialogues.
