Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt, who have been dating for more than two years, are getting married. The Bollywood superstar and his partner exchanged vows on Sunday in a private ceremony held at their Bandra residence in Mumbai, surrounded by close friends, family, and children from their previous marriages.

A SCREEN spokesperson confirmed that Aamir and Gauri have officially become husband and wife. Before marriage, Aamir’s children, Ira Khan and: Junaid Khan:was seen arriving at the venue for the ceremony. His close friend and director of ‘Lagaan’ was also seen heading to Aamir’s residence. Ashutosh Gowarikerwith actor Elli Avram, who arrived for the intimate celebration.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt’s relationship timeline
Aamir and Gauri’s relationship began in 2024, after he contacted her in Bengaluru, where she lived, through her cousin Nuzhat Khan. The two first met about 25 years ago. After they started dating in 2024, they were in a long-distance relationship for almost a year before Aamir told the media that she was his “mate,” on his 60th birthday in March 2025.

The actor also shared that though he wasn’t planning to get married a third time at that point, he felt a strong sense of “settlement” with Gauri. He moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai with his son from a previous marriage. Gauri, who used to work with a hair care brand, now supports Aamir in his production banner, Aamir Khan Productions, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last month.

The two have been sharing a residence for over a year. Last month, Aamir revealed that the couple had decided to get married. Then, earlier this week, at the premiere of ‘Pritam ug Pedro’, the streaming debut of his longtime collaborator Rajkumar HiraniAamir confirmed on the red carpet that Sunday’s wedding will be a registered wedding, followed by a small, intimate gathering limited to family and his close friends.

His first marriage was to Reena Dutta in 1986, and the two went on to co-parent their children, actor Junaid Khan and businessman Ira Khan, who is married to fitness trainer Nupur Shikare. After his split from Reena in 2002, Aamir started dating filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2004, and the couple got married the following year. They welcomed a son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011.Khan and Kiran divorced in 2021, but continued to co-parent Azad.
