Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi’s ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ continues its theatrical run on a positive note by registering a healthy jump in its third day collections. The sporting event witnessed improved measures on Sunday.
The film crossed Rs 13.85 Crore India Net in three days
According to reports by Sacnilk, ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ has earned an estimated Rs 6.20 crore (India net) on Day 3. This shows a 25.3% increase over the Rs 4.95 crore collected on Day 2.Sunday collections from 2,400 shows across India. The cumulative India net collection of the film reached Rs 13.85 crore while the India gross collection rose to Rs 15.93 crore. The overseas market also contributed steadily, adding Rs 1 crore gross on Sunday. It took its total overseas gross to Rs 2.85 crore, while its total collection now stands at Rs 18.78 crore after three days.
Occupancy is increasing for ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’
‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ has recorded a total of 44.27% occupancy in Tamil (2D). Morning performances registered 23.85%, while afternoon occupancy increased to 52.62%.The night shows remained the strongest with 53.15%, before settling at 44.46% of the night shows.Tamil Nadu continued to dominate the film business by contributing Rs 6.25 crore gross on Day 3. Karnataka added Rs 50 lakhs while Kerala contributed Rs 28 lakhs.The film received a mixed critical response upon its release.
