Mohiniyattam’ a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. The review praised the film’s technical departments and performances. It says, “The makers wanted to enhance the theatrical feel of the film through its music and Electronic Kili has delivered this perfectly. The technical team of cinematographer Bablu Aju, editor Bablu Aju, and art director Diljith Das have also done a great job in capturing the momentum – be it calm or tense – in the exterior and interior shots. The Saiju is perfect as the person the family is dealing with in a difficult situation, but is just as clueless as the rest of them. Baby Jean is a great addition to the mix. Suraj is subtle, yet rude and terrifying in all aspects of his villainy; very well played.”The second installment features an ensemble cast that includes: Saiju KurupSuraj Venjaramoodu, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt, Baby Jean, Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Swathi Das Prabhu, Divya Nair, Shruthi Suresh, Nandu Poduval, Jinil, Jivin, Santhosh Guruvayur and Nistar Sait.
