Adrian Dunbar confirms ‘Line of Duty 7’ filming has been halted
While speaking to RTE Radio 1, the famous actor explained that the riots in Belfast were one of the main reasons that the filming of the upcoming season was stopped. He shared, “We have to stop for that, which … That’s not good,” while adding that “There’s a lot of things being driven into Ireland, I think from abroad at the moment. And I think a lot of social media stirs a lot of pots here, and a lot of idle hands sitting around get in the way.“Earlier in June, riots broke out in the Northern Irish capital after Stephen Ogilvie was stabbed, and a Sudanese national was arrested in connection with the matter. After the riot broke out, houses and cars were also set on fire.
About ‘Line of Duty’ Season 7
As for the upcoming ‘Line of Duty’ season 7, it has been confirmed that the series will only have 6 episodes. Jed Mercurio wrote the entire script for this season. With Dunbar, Vicky McClureand Martin Compston will also return for a 7th season. Filming and production for the show began back in March, with McClure posting about the script in an Instagram post, writing the caption, “Season seven, we’re back. Here’s the script, want to have a look?”Filming for the series was halted in mid-June.
