MET 2026 second round seat allocation results after 8pm today; deadline will be released

MET second round results 2026: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will announce the MET 2026 second round seat allotment results today. Candidates who participated in the counseling process will be able to check their allotment status through the official counseling portal after 8 pm.Seat allocation results will be posted online at coaching.manipal.edu. Candidates must log in using their application number and password to view their allotment details. MAHE has confirmed that it will not publish results using other means.Seat allocation based on class and preferenceThe allotment process is based on candidates’ merit ranking, course and campus preference, and availability of seats. In addition to the 2nd round allocation results, the authorities will also announce the MET 2026 2nd round allocation results.The cutoff will indicate the rank required for admission into the various BTech courses offered at Manipal campus. Candidates who meet the stipulated cut-off requirements will be eligible for consideration in the admission process.Enrollment confirmation and payment scheduleCandidates allotted seats in the second round must complete the required fee payment within the stipulated period to confirm their admission. According to the schedule, the first course fee can be paid between June 20, 2026 and June 25, 2026.The first installment amount is fixed at INR 2,90,000. The second installment of tuition fees will be paid on June 30, 2026, and the amount will vary according to the chosen major.To check allocation statusTo check the allotment results, candidates need to visit coaching.manipal.edu and select the BTech course section. After logging in using their application form number and password, they will be able to view their allotment status. Candidates seeking to retain an allocated seat must make their first fee payment before the stipulated deadline.Inquire about eligibility and registration detailsTo participate in MET 2026 counseling, candidates must have a valid MET rank. Eligibility requirements include passing 10+2, A-Level, International Baccalaureate, US High School Diploma or equivalent exams with Physics, Mathematics and English as required subjects.Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and one elective subject along with the minimum passing marks prescribed by the respective boards. New registrations are still available for each consultation round. Candidates can also register using their JEE Main scores for admission consideration. The merit ranking has been formulated by giving equal 50:50 weightage to Class 12 marks and MET marks.
