New Delhi: India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is on a three-match ODI series against England from July 14 in Birmingham. TimesofIndia.com has learned that the BCCI medical team has advised the youngster to take a long break, and is yet to begin rehabilitation. He was recently ruled out of the T20Is against Ireland and England due to discomfort in his left quadricep.It sounds like a minor one – a pull that has kept him out of action since the third ODI against Afghanistan in Chennai. Officials are monitoring his progress and are hopeful that he will be back with the team next month. For now, the chances of that happening in England are still bleak, and the Zimbabwe T20Is could be the perfect way to get back into competitive cricket.
