Although the makers have not officially announced the ‘Retro’ actress’ involvement, according to a report by 123Telugu Pooja Hegde is apparently in talks for joining the franchise.The first film featured Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Her character died midway through the story, leading to speculation that a new actress might join the sequel. The rumor quickly spread on social media and fans started talking about the possible casting.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde has several projects in her kitty as she works for her next romantic drama film with Dulquer Salmaan. Directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, the film is now called ‘DQ41’. The film also marks the return of the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actress to Telugu cinema after some time.She was recently seen in the Hindi rom-com ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur.
