Samantha Ruth Prabhu riding high on the success of his latest film, ‘Maa Itni Bangaaram’. The film which is a female-led action drama made on a small budget is roaring at the box office. Recently the actress spoke about the lack of time and effort given to female stars compared to male superstars.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu to make a female superstar
In a conversation with Variety India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was asked why successful actresses still have to fight for longer working hours and higher salaries. Samantha Ruth Prabhu taking a step at a time method says, “I always say this: male superstars are not made in a day. Time and effort went into building larger-than-life male superstars. In every film, with every director who worked hard to build this god-like status. It takes time. I feel that that effort and time is not given to female stars.”He further suggested that if the filmmakers put in the same effort they put in while establishing an actor as a superstar, it can be done. “If directors and producers make that effort to make an actress a superstar, it can be done. We just need time and investment,” he said.
Samantha talks about working with her husband Raj Nidimoru
Her film ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ was co-produced by her husband and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. In the same media outlet she also spoke about working with him. “It’s actually very easy.
